Thank you all for the comments! Taking into consideration the suggestions, still in progress though.
Bringing back the flower a bit, still playing with color. To move forward from here I'd like to work on making the image less busy and overwhelming to look at. I think I got really into all of the different possibilities in one image, when I should have started fresh and tried again.
Wow, I love your use of color and textures. I can tell you are really mastering the blending modes and masking that we have learned. It's a little difficult to understand exactly what I'm looking at, but I don't think this is a negative thing. I still am intrigued by the piece and my eye keeps bouncing from one part to another.
